Why should we address overworking?

Overwork is a killer - quite literally. When we work crazy hours - when we cannot stop working crazy hours - it erodes our health, our families and relationships and even our finances. The divorce rate amongst those who work excessive hours is double the average. 

Burnout is rampant - studies in the UK and USA report up to 2/3 of a workforce report feeling burnout. Health conditions resulting from prolonged stress - typical of habitual overworkers - include mental health issues like anxiety and depression, and physical health issues like Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and digestive problems. 

The Japanese have even coined a word for the fatal effects of overwork: Karoshi. It literally means 'death by overwork'.

But we can STOP this using the Balance Beyond Work 5 Step Process.

What is the 5 Step Process?

The 5 Step Process is a simple way to ease out of the patterns of overwork. 


We do that by gently addressing the underlying drivers that lead us to overwork.


In fact, it's the same underlying driver - an inner 'niggling' something - that leads us to over-do anything. Whether you're not able to say 'No' to working or not able to say 'No' to anything that negatively impacts your health, relationships and core desires, it's the same.


We can address all imbalances using the same easy-to-learn skillset which you'll master in the 5 Step Process.


The full programme sets these steps in a rich, comprehensive structure where you'll be given training material, guidance, direct support from me, the BBW group support and other tools.


The 5 Steps Process is a 14 week programme. It is a proprietary process encompassing the mass of teachings I've been practicing and sharing with people for the last 14 years. 


It's a logical sequence of progressive steps needed to unhook from the patterns of overwork - or over anything! It fuses both timeless wisdom and cutting edge neuroscience.

"You talk about overwork - but will these 5 steps work for, say, over shopping, or overeating or even not being able to control my rage?"


Absolutely.
